The Samsung Flip phones have been there from the days when our phones used to run on Java and when the smartphones started to come, those Java Filp Phones have evolved into flip phones & right now in 2017, Samsung does make some pretty high end flip smartphones. The newest addition to this line up is the Samsung W2018. This is a pretty high-end smartphone with some top notch specifications.
The Samsung W2018 is rocking a Snapdragon 835 with 6 Gigabytes of RAM & either 64GB storage or 256 Gigabytes of Storage (for the Collectors Edition). There is 4.2 inch Super Amoled Display though, the main highlight is definitely the Camera or specifically the Rear Facing Camera cause the Front Facing Camera is just a standered 5 Megapixel Shooter.
The 12 Megapixel Rear Facing Camera however has the industry first f-1.5 Aperture that has a special functionality to it. Whenever it detects a bright environment (take a a situation under direct sunlight for example), it switches to smaller a f-2.4 aperture & whenever it detects a low-light environment, it automatically switches to the larger f-1.5 Aperture. We are not sure how Samsung is doing this but, maybe Samsung is using some moving parts inside, we’ll see when more details are available.

This is kinda screaming from the behind that the Galaxy S9 & S9 Plus may use a f-1.5 Aperture lens as well & if it has Two Lenses on the Back, then one of the lenses might be f-1.5 & the other one might be f-1.7. And though the pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, the W2018 will not be available everywhere so, maybe Korea alongside China but, we cannot expect it in the US, India or UK. So, if we have to see how that f-1.5 lens can perform, Samsung needs to include it in the S9.
