So, the specifications are top notch & as we expected the Kirin 970 brings some AI features alongside the flagship grade performance. Just like the Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro, the Honor V10 can now recognize a few objects & situations by itself & tune the camera settings according to that scenario. The total number of objects & situations available right now is 13.
There are also some AI enhancements for selfies so, good for the people into a ton of self & group selfies. Looks like every manufacturer has been doing some improvements in selfies lately but, whatever.
The Pricing for the device starts at 2699 Yuan (~ 409 USD / 26379 INR) for the 4GB, 64GB Model. For the 6GB, 64GB Model it’s 2999 Yuan (~ 454 USD / 29311 INR) & for the 6GB, 128GB Model it’s around 3499 Yuan (~ 530USD / 34192 INR). So, as expected the prices are much lower than the Mate 10 & Mate 10 Pro but, the hardware is kinda identical.
Yes, we do lose the Glass Construction & the more Premium feel. We also don’t know how the Cameras fair. But, Huawei have been doing pretty good in the Camera department so, we hope that are good but, we can confirm only after we get our hands on. So, let Huawei roll out the device outside China first. Anyway, it is launching on 5th December in UK & it may launch in January 2018 in India but probably with a different device name like the Honor 9 Pro or the Honor 10 or something like that.
