The Google Assistant is probably one of the best Virtual Smart Assistant available right now. Now, there will be arguments on this topic, no doubt. But, it’s platform is expending quite widely. After the Google Assistant was made available for all Android devices with Android 6.0 or higher & even the iPhones along with only a few 3rd party devices, now it is going to be available for many more 3rd Party Smart Speakers, Home Appliances & some other Electronic Devices.
Today, Google announced that they’ll expand the Google Assistant to a wide range of Electronic Devices that’ll be announced throughout the IFA 2017.
In the Smart Speaker segment, the devices that’ll equip Google Assistant support includes,
- Zolo Mojo by Anker
- TicHome Mini by Mobvoi
- GA10 by Panasonic
- LINK 10, LINK 20 and LINK 300 by JBL
- Smart Speaker G3 by Onyko
- LF-S50G by Sony
Also, more speakers will be announced in the few upcoming days. So, all those things you could do with Google Home, can be done with these 3rd Party Smart Speakers.
In the Smart Home Appliances segment, the devices that’ll equip Google Assistant support include,
- Smart Washing Machines
- Dryers
- Vacuum Cleaners and more
LG & other similar brands will launch a whole new range of these appliances in the IFA 2017. So, quite a lot to expect for Smart Homes.
Google also claims that the Assistant is already compatible with more than 70 Smart Devices from brands like Honeywell, Netatmo, TP-Link and Wemo. Expect this list to grow more till the end of IFA 2017.
So with that being said, looks like Google really wants to push their boundaries with the Google Assistant & with no surprise we’ll see a huge list of Smart Electronic Devices that are equipped with some sort of Digital Assistant. So, the Future is going to be smart & we’re looking forward to it.
